HOG ROAST See Events reports further down on this page Hog roasting has been around for hundreds of years. There is nothing quite like the smell of the hog sizzling, and the mouth-watering taste of the delicious meat and crackling. Your guests will be treated to a fantastic meal that they won't forget. This is also the most cost effective way of feeding a large number of people. It makes the perfect winter warmer or the ideal summer afternoon or evening feast for any occasion- whether it’s a Wedding, special Birthday or Anniversary party, Charity or Corporate event - in your own home or at any venue. Ideal and very economical for 50 to 200 guests.
There are various options to choose:- A WHOLE HOG – fresh from the farm- not the supermarket! Cooked and basted for several hours before our arrival, with the crackling pre-salted and cut into thin strips for easy serving. For 35- 200 guests A WHOLE LAMB - cooked and basted with herbs A MIXED MEAT CARVERY - you can have all or any combination of the following- whole chickens or turkey, pork, lamb, beef, and sausages. CARVE & SERVE- we will provide a person to carve the meat and one to serve -depending on the number of guests- so you can sit back and enjoy being waited on! All of the above can be accompanied with bread rolls and a selection of sauces including tomato, apple, mint sauce, and mayonnaise. BAKED POTATOES and a large selection of DELICIOUS MIXED SALADS are also offered. VEGETARIANS- we can cook whole salmon or any other fish, and supply other vegetarian dishes such as rice and vegetables, tuna pasta, quiches, and lots more. DESSERTS- Who could resist the home made banoffee pie, strawberry pavlovas, fresh fruit salad and other sweet treats we offer. Our roaster has been developed over 5 years, and is a multi-functional gas spit roasting oven complete with large rotisserie, made entirely from catering grade stainless steel. The machine is transported on a trailer so is ideal to take to any venue.( but no steep stairs please!) It can be used indoors, as long as there is good ventilation, as well as outdoors- so poor weather is not a problem. Please note we do not hire out machines. A lovely Summer evening party in a beautiful Villa. A Hog Roast, salads, pasta and baked potatoes were enjoyed by all the guests. June - 18th Birthday Party with Hog Roast - Josie Josie's main wish was to have a Hog Roast for her family and friends on her special Birthday- so around 100 guests at a local Bar were treated to the delicious meat and crackling, with bread rolls and sauces.
With the warm weather it was a perfect night for a celebration that went on till very late. Happy Birthday to Josie! MABS Charity Hog Roast - Javea
Lin & Terry kindly volunteered to host a fundraiser at their Villa in Javea. It was a well attended event with over 120 guests. Drinks were provided, and the entertainment was a Flamenco show from Antonio and Carmen, and a Hog Roast with bread rolls and salads for supper.
MABS supports those living with cancer, be it patient, family or carer. They can supply information on types of cancer and treatments, translators and drivers for hospital and doctors visits, and equipment such as beds, hoists and wheelchairs. The money raised totalled 1,800 Euros , and everyone thanks Lin and Terry for their hard work and dedication, and all guests for their donations. May- 60th Birthday Party with Hog Roast - Richard Despite the drop in temperature and some rain- Richard celebrated his milestone Birthday with family and friends at his Villa. Marquees were erected outside to keep everyone dry. All the guests enjoyed the hog roast and salmon with a buffet and desserts.
John Davidson and various other artistes provided the music for the night, and when the rain stopped it was time for dancing round the pool. Happy Birthday to Richard! |
